You’ve Got Movie Sign!: A Cinema Narcs Liveblog Extravaganza
Posted by Ron on June 23, 2011Just a friendly reminder to all you forgetful folks on the Internet. Tonight, at 8 PM Eastern (7PM Central, 6PM Mountain, and 5PM Pacific), return right here to this lovely little slice of the Internet for yet another Tuesday Night Music Club Thursday Night Liveblog Party with myself and the lovely and talented Andrew Hall. We’ve got a creature double feature for you, thanks to our good friends at Turner Classic Movies: ”It Came From Beneath The Sea” (1955) and “The Monster That Challenged The World” (1957).
Here’s TCM’s full schedule of flicks tonight, just in case you’d like to hang out after the liveblogging and watch ‘em all.
08:00 PM – “It Came From Beneath the Sea”
09:30 PM – “The Monster that Challenged the World”
11:00 PM – “The Beast From 20,000 Fathoms”
12:30 AM – “The Giant Behemoth
02:00 AM – “The Phantom From 10,000 Leagues”
03:30 AM – “Creature From the Haunted Sea”
Special note for you stop-motion animation buffs: ”It Came From Beneath The Sea” and “The Beast From 20,000 Fathoms” both feature the work of the master, Ray Harryhausen. Meanwhile, “The Giant Behemoth” features the work of Willis O’Brien, the man who brought King Kong to life.
